Long Term Extra Curriculars 

 
 

Some activities I have been participating in have long predated my time in high school. These activities have been pivotal in turning into the person I am by teaching me about character, culture, and much more. 

Scouting

 

I have been in Scouting for over 6 years. As a scout, I have achieved every rank and am an Eagle Scout. Scouting has been pivotal in developing my leadership skills as well as other interests. For example, thanks to scouting, I enjoy the outdoors, learning to camp, backpack, orienteer, canoe, and even sail!

Escuela Argentina

The Escuela Argentina is a Spanish language and culture school (Every Saturday 9am-1pm) I have been attending since preschool. It has taught me so much about Argentine culture and is the reason I am so connected to my Hispanic identity.

The Potomac Pulse

I have been an active member of the Potomac Pulse since freshman year. I've helped with a few articles and have been managing their website since the start of my junior year.

Model UN

 

I have been an active member of Model UN since freshman year and have attended many conferences. Model UN has been a way of exploring my humanities-based interests and has been a great way to work on my debate skills, public speaking, and staying up to date with current events.
